I've been listening to Doherty's new band, Babyshambles for couple of weeks now and I think it's better than his former band : The Libertines 

reminds me of another favorite English band  called, THE RAKES, except THE RAKES are fashionistas...and and what does Hedi Slimane thinks about them???  I've always believed Hedi discovered the Rakes because Hedi is known and fond of casting successful and/or unknown bands.  He discovered the drummer and casted him on his fashion show.  thats it.. and he was impressed too on the band's music, that he based one of his collections around them.
